Senior Residence Counselor

Position works within a community residence providing services to individuals with mental illness. Responsibilities include overall care of the residents, upkeep of the house, ADL training, service planning, daily notes related to progress, transportation, participation in recreational activities, advocacy, counseling, crisis intervention and mandatory on-call responsibilities.  May be responsible for coordinating client services during a shift.  High school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in human services or a bachelor’s degree in human services.  Criminal background check and valid NYS driver’s license required.
