Registered Professional Nurse Children & Youth Community Residence

The Children and Youth Community Residence provides 24 hour rehabilitative services to 8 adolescents with serious emotional disturbance. Qualified candidates must be licensed as a registered professional nurse by the New York State Education Department and have at least 2 years of experience providing direct nursing care. The qualified candidate will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to conducting health assessments, monitoring and coordinating medication, providing staff, client and family education, coordinating medical care, providing crisis intervention services and providing on-call services. Completion of criminal background check and clearance by the NYS Child Abuse & Maltreatment registry is required.
