The qualified candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience providing direct care to people with mental illness in a clinical setting. The candidate should hold a current New York State license in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling. The qualified candidate will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to: providing face to face clinical services to clients for 85% of the working day, providing group-based psychotherapy, facilitating family work and linkage with community providers, and accurate and timely completion of all related documentation to OMH and agency standards. The candidate will be proficient in collaborative documentation and evidence based clinical practice. Additionally, the qualified candidate will be able to work as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Proficiency in word processing and web-based applications are a must, as collaborative documentation in the electronic record is a large part of the job.
