RSS in Oneonta is seeking a full-time Food Service Director to be responsible for the daily operations and fiscal viability of a public restaurant in Oneonta, NY.
Minimum qualifications: Associates Degree and two years in the food service industry or high school diploma and five years experience in the food service industry. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities include: oversight of staff and consumers including safety/training/payroll/evaluations, menu development, cost effective food/supply inventory, daily sales reporting/banking, equipment maintenance/cleanliness, restaurant cleanliness, follow agency policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and promote positive public relations within the agency and community.
This position requires a valid NYS driver’s license, reliable transportation, criminal background check, and to be cleared through the NYS Central Register Database.
