The practice manager is the front-end office manager of the clinic and manages patient flow and the daily operations of the clinic front office. Qualified candidates must possess exemplary customer service skills as well as the ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently.  These tasks include conducting reminder calls, scheduling appointments, back-filling cancellations, tracking appointment outcomes, and completing various other data entry tasks.  The clinic practice manager must recognize and appropriately intervene in crisis situations.  The practice manager must also work closely with the Clinical Supervisor to develop, implement, and monitor effective work flows.  The ideal candidate must be proficient with various electronic health records and applications. An Associate’s degree in Office Management, Medical Records Management or Information Systems from a two year accredited school or a related field is preferred.  A high school diploma with two years or more related experience may be considered compensation for an Associate’s degree.
